Develop Robertson Lake on the lines of Ranital: Collector Saxena – News India Live

Jabalpur, 4 February (HS). Collector Deepak Saxena held an interaction meeting with vehicle factory officials at IB Guest House on Sunday. During this, Chief General Manager Sanjeev Kumar Bhola, General Manager Kamlesh Kumar, Work Manager Gaurav Dixit, Anil Kushwaha, Security Officer Colonel Rupinder Singh, Smart City CEO CP Gohal and other officers were present. In the meeting, topics like vehicle factory production, innovation, traffic, public facilities, skill development, employment, safety and health etc. were discussed.

In the meeting, CGM Bhola said that there is a need for proper boundary wall in the vehicle factory to prevent encroachment and for the safety of the factory. He also said that street lights, surveillance cameras and monitoring centers should be built in the area, so that unwanted activities can be monitored. He said that tourism can be promoted by developing the 300-acre Robertson Lake, known as Gokalpur Talab. The lake can be developed by removing encroachments around it and doing other activities like water sports can do some effective work in the direction of tourism and employment generation.

Collector Saxena visited Robertson Lake, took stock of the situation and saw the encroachment. He asked the Smart City officials to develop Robertson Lake on the lines of Ranital. Instructed the concerned officers to prepare an action plan for effective work towards the development of the pond and to prevent encroachment, to conduct water-based sports activities in the area and to increase tourism and employment. During this time Ranjhi Tehsildar Rajeev Mishra was also present.
