Emergency landing due to damaged wing of the plane, video goes viral on social media

San Francisco. A plane flying from San Francisco to Boston in the US had to make an emergency landing on Monday after its wing was damaged. United Airlines confirmed Tuesday and said flight 354 had to make an emergency landing due to a damaged wing.

The company said there was a problem with the slats on the plane’s wing but did not specify the cause of the loss of the Boeing 757-200. Kevin Clark, one of the 165 passengers on board the plane, shared a video on social media, showing a slate panel partially cut off. Clark said in the video clip that the plane was about to land in Denver because of a detached wing.

The plane landed safely at Denver International Airport at 5:21 p.m. after experiencing wing flap problems. According to United Airlines, passengers were transferred to another plane and arrived at Boston Logan International Airport on Tuesday morning. There is no news of any person being injured in the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it would investigate the incident. Last month, the FAA grounded most of Boeing’s 737 Max9 planes after a door plug flew off an Alaska Airlines Max9 passenger plane shortly after takeoff.
