Who are eligible to apply?

Antyodaya Anna Yojana is for the poorest of the poor in the country, who have no source of sustainable livelihood. This scheme also covers disabled people who do not have any permanent source of income.

Its benefits are also extended to the landless, agricultural labourers, marginal farmers, rag pickers, rickshaw pullers and slum dwellers. It also includes widows and persons above 60 years of age who do not have any income source.

The person applying for Antyodaya Ration Card should not have a permanent house and his annual income should not be more than Rs 20 thousand. He should not already have a ration card.

Antyodaya ration card can be applied for both online and offline. For offline application, application form has to be taken from the food supply department of the state. After this, the form has to be filled and the required documents are attached and submitted to the department.
