From January 17, DM Varanasi has been appointed as the receiver and given the responsibility of looking after it. Justice Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal heard the appeal of Anjuman Management Committee to stop the puja. The court has asked the Advocate General of UP to explain the current situation.
