High Court refusal Government ready talks yet farmers adamant marching Delhi


New Delhi: Today, farmers have again started their Delhi march from the Shambhu border connecting Haryana-Punjab. Police have made concrete arrangements to stop the farmers. Haryana government has also reached the High Court regarding the movement. A request has been made not to assemble tractors and trolleys at Shambhu and Khanauri border. It was said that this poses a big threat to law and order.

However, the High Court refused to hear immediately. Let us tell you that yesterday also a hearing was held in Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court had told the farmers that according to the Motor Vehicles Act, you cannot use tractor-trolley in this manner on the highway. Despite this the farmers are adamant. Here the government is again ready to talk to the farmers. Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda said that in the 5th round of meeting, we are ready to talk to the farmers and discuss issues like MSP, stubble. Dialogue is important to maintain peace.

How is the arrangement at Shambhu, Khanauri border?
The situation at Shambhu border has worsened at present, hence one thousand police forces have been deployed here. At the same time, 25 units of paramilitary have been deployed. From the security point of view, strict arrangements have also been made on the Khanauri border. Along with one thousand policemen, 15 to 20 paramilitary troops are deployed on duty. Seven layers of security have been created on both the borders. Concrete barricading has been done with barbed wire on the walls. Police has also increased security at Sonipat Kundli Sindhu border. The first barricade on Kundli Sindhu border has been strengthened by making a 3 feet concrete wall. Due to the movement, police forces and paramilitary forces have also set up tents.

10 to 12 thousand police deployed in Haryana
10 to 12 thousand policemen are present on the roads throughout Haryana. 60 contingents of para military have also been deployed. DGP of Punjab has written a letter to ADG, IGP and DIG of all ranges asking them not to allow heavy vehicles like Poklane, JCB, Tipper and Hydra to proceed towards Khanauri and Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana under any circumstances. An attempt will be made to stop the farmers by doing normal barricading at Shahabad, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat.
