Indian team ready to counterattack on England, host team is missing Virat Kohli

Visakhapatnam. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is ready to counterattack in the second Test starting tomorrow after the humiliating defeat at the hands of England in the Hyderabad Test. Indian batsmen have prepared to deal with the spinners of England and for this, in the past few days, the Indian batsmen practiced extensively playing sweep shots and reverse sweep shots along with traditional shots. The host team is already missing Virat Kohli and now with Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul also out, there is a big gap in their batting lineup.

However, this gives Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan and Washington Sundar a chance to make their mark here. In such a situation, the Indian team, which is struggling with injuries to its players, will have to set an example. There is also pressure on Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill, who are struggling with poor form. Both the batsmen will have to display a patient game. Rohit will have to convert his innings into a match-winning innings.

Rohit Sharma is 200 runs away from completing four thousand Test runs and fans are hopeful that he will give his best performance and achieve the historic milestone in his style. For the second Test, the entire Indian team has a total of 10,702 Test runs, while Joe Root alone has 11,447 Test runs in his name. So it is expected that all the critics will keep an eye on this Indian batting unit.

India has played two Tests in Visakhapatnam before and has an excellent record there, but by winning the first Test, a spirited England team will try to end India’s home dominance. Indian fans are hopeful that the Indian team will again repeat its old performance and level the series.
