Ivo Karlovic officially announced his retirement, won eight singles titles in 25 year career

जग्रेब (Croatia). Ivo Karlovic officially announced his retirement from tennis on Wednesday after not playing a tournament for two and a half years. The tall Croatian player wrote on ‘X’, “My career as a tennis player has been very satisfying, unconventional and long. Karlovich turns 45 next week.

He played his last ATP match in the second round at Indian Wells in California in October 2021, which he lost. Her last Grand Slam tournament match was a defeat in the first round of the US Open six weeks earlier. Karlovic won eight singles titles, amassing 371 wins and 346 losses in a 25-year career.

Her best ranking in singles was 14, which she achieved in August 2008. His best performance at a Grand Slam was at Wimbledon in 2009, where he reached the quarterfinals. He won the Davis Cup for Croatia in 2005 when the team defeated Slovakia in the final, giving the country its first title. Six-time Grand Slam singles champion Boris Becker congratulated her on her ‘Ace’ and described her serve as the best.
