Senior leader Swami Prasad Maurya resigns from primary membership of SP

Lucknow . Senior leader Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the primary membership of SP. He himself gave this information on Tuesday through social media.

After resigning from the membership of Samajwadi Party and the post of MLC, Swami Prasad Maurya said, Akhilesh Yadav is going against the Samajwadi ideology…I announced my decision to form the party after talking to the workers at a program at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi on 22 February. I will also announce. Maurya wrote to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav while resigning, “I got the opportunity to work in a cordial environment under your leadership. But as a result of not taking initiative of any kind of talks on the talks held on 12th February 2024 and the letter sent on 13th February 2024, I am also resigning from the primary membership of Samajwadi Party.”

Swami Prasad Maurya further wrote, “I am a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council as a candidate of Samajwadi Party. Since I have resigned from the primary membership of Samajwadi Party, I am also resigning from the membership of UP Legislative Council on moral grounds. Please kindly accept.” Along with this, news came about Swami Prasad Maurya that he has separated from Samajwadi Party and formed his new party. The name of this party will be Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party. Along with this, there is also news that he has launched the party flag. This flag with blue, red and green stripes has RSSP written in the middle.

Let us tell you that Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya, who was in the news for his controversial statements, had earlier resigned from the post of National General Secretary of the party. Swami Prasad Maurya had also given this information on his X account. While posting the resignation letter, he had tagged SP President Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party. Swami Prasad had written that I could not understand that I am a National General Secretary, whose statement becomes a personal statement and there are some National General Secretaries and leaders of the party, whose every statement becomes that of the party, at the same level. How some of the office bearers make personal statements and some make party statements is beyond comprehension.

The second surprise is that due to my efforts, the inclination of tribals, Dalits and backward people has increased towards Samajwadi Party. The party’s increased support base and the efforts and statements to increase the support base are not from the party but are personal. If there is discrimination even in the post of National General Secretary, then I think there is no justification for continuing in such a discriminatory, unimportant post. Therefore, I am resigning from the post of National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party, please accept it. I will be ready to strengthen the party even without the post.
