This is how the words Jai Science and Jai Research were added to the slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, the Finance Minister mentioned in the budget…

That was the 60s. There was a food crisis in India. The monsoon had become weak. The hope that the farmers had from the rain was shattered. There were famine conditions in the country. During the India-Pakistan war, America had threatened India to stop the war. Food supply was stopped. In these circumstances, the then Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri addressed the nation. In August 1965, he reached Ramlila Maidan in Delhi and gave the slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ for the first time. It was called the national slogan of the country. This was the slogan which was showing the hard work of the soldiers and farmers who gave a befitting reply to the enemies.

With the announcement of this slogan, Lal Bahadur Shastri asked the countrymen to fast one day a week and he himself followed the same path. The slogan which became a symbol of the country’s progress, this slogan worked to give energy to the soldiers and farmers of the country. Did. Paved the way for green and white revolution in the country. Such was the foundation of the revolution that milk trade made the country top at the international level. The slogan Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan became a symbol of the country’s progress.

After 33 years, in 1998, two more words were added to this slogan ‘Jai Vigyan’. This was the period when India proved that it was ready for big changes. He is gearing up to showcase his power. Pokhran test was conducted on 11 May 1998. It was named Operation Shakti. Operation Shakti demonstrated its strength to the world. India completed its nuclear test under the leadership of former President APJ Abdul Kalam, a great scientist in the country. The then Prime Minister of the country Atal Bihari Vajpayee added Jai Vigyan to Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan after the Pokhran nuclear test.

This is how Jai Anushandhan got connected: In the year 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered great Indian scientists like Acharya JC Bose, CV Raman, Meghnad Saha and SN Bose and enumerated their struggles and achievements in the Indian Science Congress (ISC) 2019. He said, these Indian scientists, while struggling with minimal resources, made such contributions in the field of science which are an inspiration. Now the time has come that we go one step further and add two more new words to Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Research. PM Modi’s focus was to promote research and development in the country. Now Finance Minister Nirmala Sitamaran mentioned it in her budget on Thursday with the slogan of increasing the scope of research. He has made it clear that innovation is the foundation of development.

It is clear from the speech of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and PM Modi that India’s focus will now be on innovation while moving forward in the field of science. This has been made clear by promoting research and development in many sectors. India is now progressing rapidly in the manufacturing of weapons and increasing the scope of their export.
