Vadnagar is being developed for tourism-spiritual purposes – Tourism Minister – News India Live

Vadnagar, an ancient and historical city of Gujarat is being developed by the state government for tourism and spiritual purposes. The tender process for developing Sapt Rishi Aaro and Dilake in Vadnagar at a cost of Rs 1,264 lakh has been completed and a letter of intent has been given to the agency.

Tourism Minister Molubhai Bera gave this information to the people while presenting the questions of Unjha MLA KK Patel in the Assembly House.

The Tourism Minister said that modern facilities like landscaping, entrance gates, parking and toilet blocks will be developed at Saptarishi Aaro in Vadnagar and Dilek for tourists. As a result of the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of the Government of India and special efforts of the Government of Gujarat, about 8.65 lakh tourists have visited Vadnagar in the last one year.

Being a leader in the field of tourism, Gujarat has also been the first choice destination for foreign tourists. Nearly 15 crore tourists have visited Gujarat in the last two years, which has established Gujarat’s unique identity in the tourism sector.
