Raipur, 21st February is World Mother Language Day. This day is celebrated for the preservation and promotion of mother tongue. So that the mother tongue can be saved in the era of globalization. Nandkishore Shukla has been involved in this campaign for the last 30 years. Nand Kishore Shukla, who is engaged in the campaign to make Chhattisgarhi language the medium of school education in Chhattisgarh, has sat on a two-day Satyagraha. He has single-handedly started Satyagraha under the Gandhi statue in Azad Chowk. He also keeps doing public awakening and padayatra from time to time.

Nandkishore Shukla says that only then can the mother tongue be saved. When studied there. Not only this, rapid mental development of children is also possible only in the mother tongue. Therefore, all over the world, emphasis is being laid on providing primary to secondary education in the mother tongue only. It has also been made mandatory in the new National Education Policy. Despite this, it has not been implemented compulsorily yet in Chhattisgarh. Whereas Chhattisgarhi is also the official language of the state.
