Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan held a meeting with all the BDOs and Block Coordinators of the district in the auditorium of the Collectorate on Tuesday, reviewed the block wise applications, approved applications and geotagging under the Abua Housing Scheme and directed all the Block Development Officers to ensure the selection of eligible beneficiaries. . Emphasis was laid on completing this work at a fast pace. He instructed to verify all the applications received under the scheme on a war footing.
He directed to establish mutual coordination and ensure execution of errors or technical problems in various applications in order to provide benefits under the scheme to 100% eligible beneficiaries as per the achieved target. He said that during the selection of beneficiaries, it should be ensured that departmental guidelines are followed at all costs.
During the review of the progress of Abua Housing, the Deputy Commissioner expressed shock to the Block Development Officers of Patan, Lesliganj, Sadar and Chhatarpur regarding the slow pace in verification of applications. Similarly, 15 days salary of the housing coordinators of Panki, Hariharganj, Patan, Leslieganj, Sadar and Chhatarpur was postponed for not doing satisfactory work in Abua residence. The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Coordinators to provide benefits to all the eligible beneficiaries with better coordination with the Block Coordinators.
