Una, 05 February (Hindus). Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected the National Career Service Centre, Prem Ashram (Special School) and Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium on Monday. The Deputy Commissioner said that in order to generate interest among the youth in the district towards sports, all necessary facilities will be provided in the sports stadium so that the players of the district can be provided a proper platform for sports.
On Monday, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the arrangements of all the sports grounds and indoor stadium in the sports stadium. He discussed with the sports department officials and sports coaches about providing additional facilities for the players in the sports grounds. He said that facilities for table tennis, badminton and judo are available in the indoor stadium. Jatin Lal said that an estimate will be prepared from the Public Works Department for the repair of the indoor stadium so that sports can be promoted and better facilities can be provided to the players as well as the local people.
Jatin Lal said that efforts will be made to make the Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium a better and organized sports ground so that the players can get the facilities of the sports field as per their interest.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the National Career Service Center and met the special children undergoing training there and discussed various topics with them.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Prem Ashram Special School and met the children and also played table tennis with the special children of the school. The special children shook hands with the Deputy Commissioner and said Namaste, which made the children very happy. The Deputy Commissioner told the teachers there to give a lot of love to these children and teach them with love as per their capacity so that the children can have a good experience.
