FASTag KYC deadline extended, do online KYC like this


There is a relief news for Fastag users. If you have not yet done KYC for Fastag, you still have time. National Highway Authority of India i.e. NHAI has extended the deadline for doing Fastag KYC. Now users can update KYC for FASTag till 29 February 2024. This deadline was kept till 31 January 2024. But it has been extended. If you do not update KYC in your FASTag by 29th February, your FASTag will become inactive from 1st March. In such a situation you will have to pay double toll tax.

Follow the steps given below to KYC your FASTag.

Step 1: To do KYC in Fastag, first of all you have to login to the website.

Step 2: Now login here by entering your registered mobile number and password.

Step 3: If you do not remember the password, click on Get OTP and enter the OTP.

Step 4: Now go to My Profile section in the dashboard menu, here you will see your KYC status.

Step 5: If you have not updated KYC then click on KYC Now and select your customer type here.

Step 6: Now fill the required details by submitting ID proof and identity proof.

Step 7: Also upload a passport size photograph of yourself. – Now tick the declaration and submit it.

By doing this your FASTag will be KYC. However, after doing this process you can also check its status.

Follow the steps given below to check FASTag status.

Step 1: First go to fastag.ihmcl.com and login.

Step 2: Now after opening the web page, there will be a login button on the top right side of the website.

Step 3: Here you have to enter the registered mobile number to log in, on which you will get OTP.

Step 4: After logging in, now click on My Profile section on the dashboard.

Step 5: In the My Profile section you will see the KYC status of Fastag and the information you submitted during the registration process.

Step 6: You can also check this status through your bank’s website.

4. Passport size photo

5. Passport, Voting ID card, Aadhar card, driving license or PAN card can be used for ID and address proof.
