: In the interim budget presented on February 1, Finance has given major relief to one crore families. During this period, a provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made for ‘Rooftop Solar Scheme’. Under this, one crore families will be able to get up to 300 units of free electricity every month. From this he will get a benefit of Rs 18000 annually. Only those people will be able to participate in this, whose annual income is less than Rs 1.50 lakh. There will also be provision for subsidy under PMSY. The Central Government will give subsidy of up to 40 percent for installation of solar panels.
