Kanpur, Amrit Vichar. Little Master Cricket star Sunil Gavaskar reached his in-laws house to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law Pushpa Mehrotra. He said that the family has suffered an irreparable loss due to the demise of the mother-in-law.
Sunil Gavaskar reached his in-laws house in Civil Lines late on Friday night. While addressing the media on Saturday, he said that the city residents are with us in this hour of mourning. We have a lot of connection with Kanpur. Pushpa Mehrotra died on Friday. She was 94 years old. She was ill for a long time.
On receiving information about his demise, family members and close people have reached his residence. The families of his three daughters live in Mumbai. The family members present in the house told that Gavaskar was very fond of his in-laws. He often talked to his mother-in-law on phone. His wife Marchanille was also in constant touch with her mother.
