Not only this, hackers send messages to Paytm users to alert them that your KYC has expired or is about to expire within a week, after which your account will be blocked within 24 hours.
Or you may not be able to access your account. Overall, people are intimidated by sending such messages, so that money can be looted from them by any means. Not only this, a link is also given in the message to update KYC. However, Paytm has already said many times that such messages are not being sent to the users.
Keep these things in mind to avoid hackers
Paytm always ensures that users are never called and asked to install any app. Paytm employees do not inquire about PIN, OTP, password, password reset link, debit or credit card CVV, or bank details from any of its customers. If someone calls you and says that the date of your Paytm KYC is about to expire, then do not fall into such things even by mistake.
If it says that your KYC has been done and now to get cashback, a link will be sent to you along with SMS, and you will have to click on it. So you should delete such SMS immediately and never click on such links. No Paytm employee will ask you to click on any link to avail any KYC related offer.
