Before the Lok Sabha elections, Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan can take a big step regarding the prices of petrol and diesel. Now the BJP government of the state can reduce VAT on petrol and diesel. This will reduce the prices of both fuels in the state.
If reports are to be believed, CM Bhajan Lal may soon take a decision to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel. The prices of both the fuels in the state may reduce by Rs 2 to Rs 9. Along with the state government’s VAT, the central government can also take steps to reduce excise duty.
Due to this, the price of petrol in Rajasthan may be less than Rs 100, while the price of diesel is expected to be less than Rs 90. Earlier, Union Minister Kailash Chaudhary had given indications in this regard in Balotra. If the prices of petrol and diesel come down in the state, it will be a big gift for the people of the state before the Lok Sabha elections.
