PM Modi thanked the leader of the opposition in the motion of thanks on the President’s address.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Monday (05 February). During this, he fiercely targeted the opposition parties and said that many opposition MPs present in the House have lost the courage to contest the elections. Also thanked Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, which is being discussed.

PM Modi was continuously targeting the opposition in the House. During this time, there came a time when he thanked Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and the entire House started applauding.

Why did PM Modi say thank you?
Actually, PM Modi was targeting Congress as well as other opposition parties regarding familyism. On this the opposition leader intervenes, on which PM Modi says that on the other hand, if Dada is speaking again and again, let me clarify one thing.

PM Modi said, “He is not able to give up his habit and is commenting again and again, let me explain. Sorry President Sir, I am taking some time but it is important to explain this.”

He further said, “What kind of nepotism are we talking about? If more than one person in a family progresses in politics on their own strength with public support, then we have never called it nepotism. We talk about the familism in which the party is run by the family, the party which gives priority to the family members and the party in which all the decisions are taken by the family members.
