New Delhi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Soon after, he was arrested after being interrogated. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is recently in the grip of ED. ED has so far sent him 5 summons for questioning regarding the investigation, in which he has not appeared in even one of them. From time to time, the market of rumors regarding Kejriwal’s arrest also becomes heated. ED is investigating against Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Policy case.

At the same time, ED is also investigating a money laundering case against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. ED is investigating under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a 1995 case against Vijayan. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy is also under investigation by ED. An investigation is going on against Jaganmohan Reddy regarding the financial matters of Bharti Cements.

It is known that recently Congress Party government has been formed in Telangana and Revanth Reddy has become the Chief Minister of the state for the first time. Revanth Reddy is also under investigation by ED in a money laundering case. Reddy, the then TDP leader in the assembly, was booked for allegedly paying a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to a nominated MLA to vote in his favor in the MLC elections in 2015.
