Actually, a video went viral on social media in which a person was driving a Tesla Cybertruck wearing an Apple VR headset on his eyes.
In the video, the man can be seen driving Tesla’s new Cyber Truck. During this, he is wearing Apple’s VR (Virtual Reality) headset over his eyes and is making some gestures with his hands. As soon as the video surfaced, there was an uproar on social media and people started raising questions about the safety of other drivers and pedestrians on the road.
It is inappropriate to drive with hand signals
In this case, Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of the Department of Transportation in the US Government, shared a video on social media saying that drivers should always pay attention while driving. ‘Remember, all advanced driver assistance systems available today require the driver to remain in control of the car at all times and fully concentrate on driving,’ he said in his post.
As Pete Buttigieg said, don’t go by the names given by car companies to the technology, like Autopilot, Advanced Autopilot or Self-Driving Vehicle. This does not mean that the vehicle will automatically drive safely. For safe driving, control of the vehicle must be in the driver’s hands at all times.
Is it dangerous to use a VR headset
Let us tell you that Apple’s Vision Pro was launched last week and it displays three-dimensional digital content mixed with a view of the outside world through a VR headset.
