Weather Update: Rain warning in 8 states on 6th and 7th February amid thunderstorms, read forecast


New Delhi: The weather update in the capital Delhi seems to be changing very rapidly. Delhi is getting colder in the morning and evening. People are getting relief from cold due to sunshine in the afternoon.



Similar weather patterns may be seen in the next few days. According to experts, the effect of climate change is clearly visible in the weather of February. It is not yet time to bid farewell to winter. At present, rain is continuing in some districts of Uttar Pradesh.

After the rain, Delhiites got respite from the cold yesterday. Even today i.e. on 6th February, good sunshine has been seen in Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, a decrease in the temperature of Delhi has also been recorded.

Weather condition in Delhi
Moderate fog and mist were observed in different parts of Delhi this morning. Today the minimum temperature can be recorded at 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 20 degrees Celsius. The temperature is expected to drop in the coming days also. The heavy fog has ended due to rain in many areas of Delhi NCR, but there is no respite from the cold.

The impact of snowfall may still be seen in the hilly areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold wave is expected to increase in the national capital from Wednesday. However, the weather will be clear and sunny during the day.

There is a possibility of light rain in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh also. On Tuesday, yellow alert of thunderstorm and lightning was issued at one or two places in south-west and south-central parts including Patna.

Light rain is predicted over West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura during 6 to 7 February, while thunderstorm and hailstorm is predicted at isolated places in Sikkim on 5 February. .

According to IMD, rain is expected in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and North-East India on February 6. There is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Assam.

Weather condition in Bihar
The effect of Western Disturbance is being seen in entire Bihar including the capital Patna. The Meteorological Department says that foggy conditions will persist in Patna for 1-2 days. However, the weather will start clearing from February 8.

According to the Meteorological Department, cloud movement will continue in the south-west and south-central parts of Bihar for the next three days. Due to drop in maximum temperature, severe winter can be seen. There is a possibility of sunshine in Patna from 8th February.

According to the Meteorological Department, today, Karnal (Haryana) recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 4.2°C. Moderate fog has been recorded in Uttarakhand today. Apart from this, dense fog has been recorded in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan and Western Madhya Pradesh.
