Mamta spoke for the first time on seat sharing, was giving two seats to Congress in Malda

Kolkata, 31 January (HIST). For the first time, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has opened her mouth about seat sharing with Congress in West Bengal. In her address after the padyatra in Malda district, Mamata said that only in Malda we (Trinamool Congress) had given two seats to Congress but Congress was demanding more.

This statement of the Chief Minister has come at a time when Rahul Gandhi’s Yatra is once again entering West Bengal from Bihar via Malda. Malda South has only one Congress won seat.

Mamta said that we were ready to give so many seats to Congress in only one district but the party was asking for more seats. This statement of CM is considered very important at the time of Rahul Gandhi’s entry into Bengal.

Attacking the Congress, she said that I rarely come to do politics but there are some parties which start chirping like cuckoos at the time of elections.

Mamata Banerjee also targeted BJP and said that if anyone can defeat BJP then it is Trinamool Congress. I have been fighting a long battle against BJP and will continue to fight alone. He once again reiterated that his party will contest the elections alone in Bengal.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has already announced to contest the elections alone in Bengal.
