The troubles of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan are not showing any signs of ending. Now the police has taken action against his party and raided his offices. Police arrived in plain clothes on Thursday and stopped the member from entering the premises. According to party sources, the raid took place a day after Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment in a corruption case.

Imran Khan’s party’s troubles are increasing

On Wednesday, before the general meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party in Islamabad, police force suddenly arrived in civil dress. However, PTI has held online meetings. He also said that it has been decided to hold organizational elections within the party. Let us tell you that before the general elections to be held on February 8, Imran’s party is facing many difficulties. These include cancellation of the party’s election symbol by the Election Commission, cancellation of nomination papers of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and many other party leaders. Notably, a senior police officer rejected the allegations and said that the raid could not be conducted without the permission of the magistrate. No such order was issued on Wednesday.

An official source said that when the court gave its verdict against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, it was expected that there would be protests. The police did not enter the party office and remained standing outside. A PTI representative said there were plans to hold general body meetings in Islamabad, all provincial capitals and Gilgit Baltistan. For which preparations were made to connect all the places with internet. A leader associated with the party claimed that police officers had threatened PTI members who had arrived there to attend the general body meeting. They threatened him of consequences if he got involved in it.
