Hindu deities representing different parts of India including Swaminarayan, Rama, Sita, Krishna and Ayyappan will be installed in this temple. This temple was constructed at a cost of Rs 200 crore. It is worth Rs 700 crore and has 2 domes made of pink sandstone and marble. This temple has been prepared by more than two thousand artisans from Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Indian Ambassador to the UAE Sudhir said, “One of the most significant developments in bilateral relations in recent years is the construction of the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi.” He said, “PM Modi is expected to inaugurate the temple on February 14. Built on a hilltop outside Abu Dhabi in line with the aspirations of our forefathers Mahatma Gandhi and Sheikh Zayed, the temple will be a testament to the enduring tradition of peace and tolerance.” Due to Modi’s visit to UAE, Indians present there are preparing for the biggest summit. The event is a celebration of the close ties between India and the UAE and will provide an opportunity to the Indian community to connect with their leader. To streamline the UAE event, a registration portal has been set up and transportation arrangements have been made for people to reach the venue. The event is being jointly organized by 150 Indian community organizations in the UAE.
