President Murmu will inaugurate Surajkund International Crafts Fair today – News India Live


New Delhi, 02 February (HS). President Draupadi Murmu will visit Surajkund in Faridabad (Haryana) near the national capital Delhi today (Friday). She will inaugurate the 37th Surajkund International Crafts Fair-2024 here in the afternoon. The fair will conclude on 18th February. The fair will run daily from 10 am to 8 pm. More than 40 countries are participating in the fair. Cultural programs will be held on both big and small stages. School children will also perform.

According to Haryana Tourism Department Principal Secretary MD Sinha, President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the fair at 3 pm on Friday. The department has announced 50 percent discount on tickets for disabled, senior citizens, serving defense personnel and ex-servicemen. He said that Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Heritage and Tourism Minister Kanwar Pal, Power and Heavy Industries Minister Krishna Pal, Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma etc. will be mainly present in the inauguration ceremony.
