Three arrested with bars worth one lakh in Hardoi





Police have arrested three people with bars worth more than Rs 1 lakh stolen from the under-construction CNG plant in Pasigwan police station area of ​​Lakhimpur Kheri district. On the other hand, two other associates are also being searched. Three pistols and cartridges were also found with the accused.

Jahanikheda police post in-charge of Kotwali area, Ramanand Mishra said that people carrying iron rods on a handcart were stopped at Barwar turn. Seeing the police, two people ran away while three were caught. The three arrested have given their names as Lalaram and Samod alias Bhodi, residents of Bahirma of Pihani area and Bantu, residents of Bohirampur. The accused have named the absconding associates as Vivek and Shekhar.

Told that regarding the recovered rebar, all three told that it was stolen from the CNG plant being built behind the Ajbapur sugar mill on the night of 29 January. The weight of 39 bars is 15 quintals and the price is around one lakh rupees.
The outpost in-charge said that the accused told that they had sold five quintals of iron rods to the people while passing by. All three have been sent to jail. Kotwal DD Siddharth said that the absconding associates are also being searched.
